Sinusitis Acupuncture Treatment

Sinusitis is in inflammatory condition of the sinus cavities.  Sinusitis begins when a person has existing swelling of the sinus cavity lining caused by a cold or allergy.  When bacteria get into the sinuses and attack the already swollen cavity lining, greater inflammation occurs causing the cilia to not be able to flush out the bacteria and mucus, and the sinusitis infection begins.  There are several symptoms of sinusitis which may include cough, congestion, green nasal discharge, post nasal drip, and facial pain and pressure.
