Sinusitis Acupuncture Treatment

Sinusitis is in inflammatory condition of the sinus cavities.  Sinusitis begins when a person has existing swelling of the sinus cavity lining caused by a cold or allergy.  When bacteria get into the sinuses and attack the already swollen cavity lining, greater inflammation occurs causing the cilia to not be able to flush out the bacteria and mucus, and the sinusitis infection begins.  There are several symptoms of sinusitis which may include cough, congestion, green nasal discharge, post nasal drip, and facial pain and pressure. When the sinusitis infection lasts for twelve or more weeks it is considered chronic and can have added symptoms such as loss of sense of taste and smell and the patient may become fatigued.

There are various treatment forms for sinusitis.  One untraditional form of treatment is acupuncture.  Acupuncture is a form of therapy which uses thin needles to puncture certain pressure points depending on the problem.  Acupuncture sinusitis treatment is meant to open up the sinuses, increasing the flow of mucus.  Another more traditional form of treatment which is used is oral antibiotics.  Oral antibiotics work on an infection by flowing through the blood stream to the infected area.  In the sinus cavities however, there are only a small amount of blood vessels, so it is difficult for an effective amount of medication to be delivered.

Sinus Dynamics program works differently to fight sinusitis than the other treatment forms.  Sinus Dynamics uses nebulized, topical antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and anti-fungals in a 3.2 micron size to work quickly and easily to get through the inflammation and into the sinusitis infection.  Since this innovative treatment uses topical medications, there is less of a chance of the medication traveling through out the blood stream and into the rest of the body.  Sinus Dynamics 98% success rate clearly shows that it is the safest and most effective form of treatment for sinusitis infections.
