Tobramycin Used for Sinusitis

There are different types of antibiotics used to treat sinusitis. Amoxicillin is the most common type of antibiotic. Studies show that amoxicillin has very few known side effects and has a high percentage rate of success. However, depending on the level and type of sinusitis you have, other antibiotics can also be prescribed for you.

Tobramycin is another type of antibiotics used for sinusitis treatment. It is usually mixed into a compound solution with other medications that is used with a nebulizer.
